And now, last week, we as Brian just said,

we're really thinking about the student experience

and how that shifts in a blended learning environment.

Next week, we're going to be thinking a lot about

how the school experience itself shifts,

but this week is all about the teacher

and how the teacher's role changes in a blended learning

environment.

>> And, you know, let's be clear, if, if that vision we

had for students last week is going to

become a reality,

We, as teachers, have to, and will want to really

re-conceive of our role,

and the core element of what it really means to be a teacher.

>> That's a, a, absolutely right, and

one of the things that you hear a lot is sometimes

technology replacing teachers.

That's utter nonsense.

What's very clear, is that teachers are

absolutely critical in these blended

leaving environments,

and what I've heard teachers who go into

blended learning tell me,

Is that the technology actually empowers them, and

helps them remember why they got into teaching in the

first place,

and that they would not go back to a traditional environment

once here.

>> So in this section, we're going to go deep on four big ideas.

The first is, the way that the role

 and even the mindset of the teachers changes

in a blended learning environment.

Next we'll get on the ground into our schools

and see examples of  what this looks like in

our campuses.

Then we'll shift our attention to, how do

we help train and support teachers and staff, to be able to

succeed in these blended settings.

And then lastly, we'll do a deep dive on

pedagogy, sort of the moves of a blended

learning teacher,

and what does it take for a teacher to really thrive in a classroom setting.

我所听闻的那些参与混合式学习的教师的所说，真的是技术赋予他们的吗？帮助他们记得当初进入教学的原因的吗？一旦参与了混合式学习，教师们将不能再回到传统的环境中。

故在这一章节中，我们将继续深入研究四个主要观念。

第一，   教师在混合式教学环境中的角色和精

神状态的改变。

接下来，我们将会实地考察学校并且查看校园中关于教师在混合式学习中角色变化的一些案例。

然后，我们将转移注意力到如何帮助训练且支持教师和相关人员在混合式学习设计中取得成功。

最后，我们将潜心钻研教育学，钻研如何改变自我成为一名混合式学习的教师，教学中如何真正成长为一名合格混合式学习教师。
