the closing of the course
Well, that's the end of the course.
>> So, it's worth this time pausing and reflecting about why you signed up for this course in the beginning. And what your own goals and motivations. For learning about this topic of blended learning, were at the outset.
>> And Michael and I know, there's simply no way that we could have met all of your hopes for this course. It's kind of amazing to see the people from all over the world, with all different backgrounds, and different things they were looking for in this course. And it's actually been very humbling for us to just see how much work it is to produce even a decent online MOOC and online course.
>> Yeah. And so when we set to build this course, Bryan and I didn't set out to design an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of technology in education. Rather, what we wanted to do was help educators in the actual field create great blended learning models and put them into action.
>> I mean, this is new. We don't know how to this. And we've said it a hundred times. But we think you now have the core ideas and concepts around transforming a school and using online learning. Trying for mastery-based learning, and personalizing for every student. And let's remember, if we get this right, it's actually profound. It doesn't just fix schools, it doesn't just make education better. It can have an impact on the much broader society. And we're not saying this course prepares you to do that. We're saying maybe this is the first step to all of you contributing to the knowledge base. And helping us figure out how to make a more personalized education system for each of the students who are in schools now and all the students that are coming.
>> And that's one of the reasons that quite frankly, Brian and I are just so excited about the models that you're going to put into action. We're excited to see the videos that you create of your blended learning schools and classrooms. And for those of you that are doing hypothetical scenarios, 以及你正在做的假设情景,we're excited to see the ideas that just bubble up through this process. Thank you for taking this course. Because we're going to learn a lot through this process. And we're excited that you stuck with us all the way through.
>> Yeah. So send us your feedback on Twitter, on the discussion boards. We'd love to hear what you think. And we thought we'd go out with just a little bit of inspiration from our schools to remind ourselves why we think this work is worth trying to do. Thanks for being a part of this. Good luck out there.
