A Day During the Vacation

Last summer, I had an unforgettable trip to Nanjing with my family. Nanjing is an ancient city with a long history, which attracts lots of visitors every year. Let me tell you about my wonderful day there.

In the morning, we went to the Sun Yat - sen Mausoleum. As we climbed to the top, we felt quite excited. The Sun Yat - sen Mausoleum is built to commemorate Dr. Sun Yat - sen. We climbed the steps one after another, and the sun shone brightly. It made us feel full of energy. The view from the top was amazing, and we took many photos.

In the afternoon, we tried local dishes in Nanjing, such as Nanjing Roast Duck, duck blood vermicelli soup and some sweet desserts. The food was so delicious that I thought I was in a world full of tasty treats. I couldn't help eating a lot.

Nanjing is an extraordinary, historic and lively city. I had such a great time that day and I'm looking forward to visiting it again.
