During my last holiday, I went to Beijing, China’s lively central city. I took a train there—it was cheap, fast, and I enjoyed watching the scenery outside the window.

I visited Tian’anmen Square first; it was so grand with fluttering red flags. Then I went to the Palace Museum, where the old buildings amazed me. I also climbed the Great Wall—there were lots of people, all tired but smiling.

I tasted Beijing Roast Duck and hot noodles too. They were really delicious. Beijing is wonderful, and I hope to visit again soon!
