My Favourite Chinese Dish
As the old saying goes, "Food is the paramount necessity of the people." Today, I want to cook scrambled eggs with tomatoes for my family—it’s my favorite Chinese dish.
To make this delicious dish, we need to prepare two eggs, two ripe tomatoes, cooking oil, salt, and a pinch of sugar.
First, wash the tomatoes thoroughly and cut them into small chunks. Next, crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk them well. You can add a little salt to the egg mixture if you like, or just leave it plain. Then, heat some cooking oil in a wok or pan. Once the oil is hot, pour in the whisked eggs and stir-fry quickly for about one minute until they turn golden and fluffy. Then, take the scrambled eggs out of the pan and set them aside. Next, put the tomato chunks into the same pan and stir-fry gently until they become soft and release their juice. At this point, add an appropriate amount of salt and a pinch of sugar to enhance the flavor. Finally, put the scrambled eggs back into the pan and mix them well with the tomatoes for another 30 seconds.
Scrambled eggs with tomatoes is not only easy to make but also tastes sweet and savory. It’s such a wonderful dish that my whole family loves it!
